The Rev. Canon Alan Hawkins
Vicar

Alan has planted churches in Davidson, NC and Greensboro, NC (Church of the Redeemer, where he is currently Rector), and has been a part of coaching and mentoring church planters for many years.  In his role of Vicar of Anglican 1000, which he assumed in summer 2012, Alan works with Archbishop Duncan to bring overall leadership and set the vision and direction for our work.

The Rev. Dan Alger
Director of Communications & Equipping

Dan is a long time church planter, having planted in Fayetteville, NC in the military community surrounding Fort Bragg where he was Pastor for 10 years and having assisted and coached numerous other church plants in various areas. He is currently planting Church of the Redeemer in the greater Atlanta area.  Dan's role in A1K is to assist in the creation of the systems and structures for training planters as well as overseeing the communications for our organization.

The Rev. Jeff Weber
Director of Assessment & Regional Events

Jeff is the planter and pastor at Sojourn Community Church in Greensboro, NC, which he planted in 2009.  Jeff has a background in law and has served on staff at Columbia International University.  He has a love for cross-cultural ministry and church planting.  Jeff's role within A1K is to develop the systems of assessment for church planters and to coordinate our Summit and Regional Events.

Daron Taylor
Anglican Campus Fellowship

Daron recently joined the Anglican 1000 Team to lead our college ministry initiative. A graduate of Indiana University and Wheaton College Graduate School, Daron has served 22 years ministering within the college community. Whether it was with a para-church ministry, a congregation-based ministry or most recently for the Diocese of South Carolina, Daron has consistently been called to lead the Church in effectively engaging and reaching college students with the Gospel. He also has church planting experience as part of the planting team at City Church in Charleston, SC where he still resides with his wife and two children.
